WACKER RTV-2 silicone rubbers with the trade name ELASTOSIL®  RT are ready for use two-part systems, flowable or non-sag. The systems react to an elastic silicone vulcanizate.

The RTV-2 silicone rubbers are classified by the vulcanization reaction type into condensation curing systems, which cure under the influence of humidity (ELASTOSIL® RT and WACKER ® Catalyst T), and addition curing  systems (ELASTOSIL® RT as A- and B-side), which contain a platinum catalyst and cure under the influence of temperature.
