WACKER RTV-1 silicone rubber with the trade name ELASTOSIL® are ready for use one-part systems, flowable or non-sag. The systems react with the humidity to an elastic silicone vulcanizate.

Products of the series ELASTOSIL® A create acetic acid as by-product during the vulcanization reaction. The result is a typical „vinegar smell".
